A complete structural wetroom system for tiled floors, combining the Maxxus Linear floor former, Purus Living linear drain and paint-on tanking system in one kit.

The Maxxus former is self-supporting, can be installed over timber joists or into solid floors, with a choice of drain grids and waste outlets to suit different installation requirements.

All components are also available separately.

Suitable for Timber & Solid Floors

Maxxus Linear can be installed in both timber and solid floor constructions. In timber floors, the structural former can be installed over suitable joists, while solid-floor installations can be recessed to create a level-access tiled shower area.

Purus Living Linear Wetroom Drain

The Maxxus Linear kit includes the Purus Living linear drain, providing a contemporary drainage solution with a choice of grid finishes and three waste outlet options to suit different installation depths and drainage requirements.

What's the difference between Maxxus and Maxxus Linear?

The standard Maxxus kit uses a traditional square drain, while Maxxus Linear uses a longer linear channel drain for a more contemporary appearance and higher maximum flow rate.

Can Maxxus Linear be installed on timber floors?

Yes. Maxxus Linear is self-supporting and suitable for timber floor installations, accepting loads up to 470kg over joists at 400mm centres.

Can Maxxus Linear be installed on solid floors?

Yes. Maxxus Linear can also be recessed into suitable concrete or screeded floors to create a level-access tiled shower area.

Which waste outlet should I choose?

This depends mainly on the available installation depth, waste pipe direction and required flow rate. The low 52mm outlet is ideal where depth is restricted, while the 105mm side and end outlets provide higher flow rates.

Can the Maxxus Linear former be cut to size?

Yes. The former can be cut where required to suit the available space, taking care to maintain the necessary falls towards the linear drain.

Do I need to tank the former before tiling?

Yes. The wetroom must be correctly waterproofed before tiling. The kit includes our paint-on tanking system for waterproofing the former and surrounding wet area.
