Do I need to tank a wetroom?
Every tiled wetroom should be fully waterproofed before the the tiles are installed. Tanking prevents water ingress and protects the surrounding building structure.

Can I tile directly onto a floor former?
No. The floor former must first be waterproofed using a suitable tanking system before tiles are fixed using the appropriate adhesive.
Can tanking systems be used on walls as well as floors?
Yes. Wetroom tanking systems are designed to waterproof both floors and walls within the wet area, helping to create a fully sealed installation.
